Drie wereldverbetaars, één finalist
The challenges facing young people today, such as housing shortage, climate crisis and performance pressure, are undeniable and overwhelming. But in the midst of these obstacles, ambitious young people are raising their voices to make a positive difference. To pay extra attention to all young people who run the extra mile with their social initiative, the Young Impact Awards have been brought to life. Here, those who make a difference are nominated for the Young Impact Award. That’s not all! The ‘Impact Teacher of the Year’ award is also presented, where passionate education professionals are spotlighted.
Young Venture Group has committed to Young Impact as a social partner. Not only are we involved in these wonderful initiatives behind the scenes, but now also on stage and in the spotlight! Founder of Young Venture Group, Wim de Jong, will, in fact, be on the jury himself
Wim de Jong: “Young people who dedicate themselves to others, society or nature should be rewarded. Through the Award Show, we will honour this generation of young people who dare to make their voices heard and are not afraid to stand up for their ideals. Then, by definition, you already deserve an award. I am very honoured to be part of this special event and look forward to putting all these young impact makers in the spotlight”.
The first edition of the awards show, born out of the desire to give young impact makers a bigger stage, was a smashing success. Expectations for this year are therefore also high. The event, which takes place on 2 November 2023 at the Q Factory in Amsterdam, offers not only recognition but also an opportunity for the nominees to expand their network and learn from each other.
With 15 nominees sharing their impact stories, the event promises an evening full of inspiration and surprises. From themes such as equal opportunities to climate improvement, it will be an evening where passion and change take centre stage. In addition, the evening will be presented by well-known KRO-NCRV presenter Klaas van Kruistum and theatre actress Lisanne Dijkstra.
From 2 October 2023, the nominees will be announced and votes can be cast. Everyone can vote and during the event, all attendees will also cast their votes. Be there? Then get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
